I am an experienced clinical psychologist who provides holistic support for mental health and wellbeing for adolescents and adults. Therapy draws strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as trauma informed practices. Together we talk through past and present experiences to better understand and integrate the different parts of who you are now. Through compassion and care, you will move towards feeling better and living fully.

I offer support for:

  • Anxiety, social worries and fears
  • Perfectionism
  • Obsessive-compulsive difficulties
  • Relationship changes and life transitions
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Being your authentic self and working with your brain
  • Autism and ADHD assessments

I also offer neuroaffirming assessments to explore neurotype, specifically for people seeking to know whether they are Autistic, an ADHDer, or both. Together we explore individual differences, make sense of lived experiences, embrace identity, and learn different ways to overcome challenges. Being authentic and connected is important to me. I am committed to continued professional development, learning from those with lived experience, and affirming action to build inclusive communities. We have the opportunity to create something wonderful with our lives - with and for each other, and for generations to come.

I am an experienced clinical psychologist now based solely at Heartwood Psychology.

At the heart of my practice is the empathic acknowledgement that we all essentially want to better understand ourselves in this complex world. I combine my experience of working with people across the lifespan with a deep understanding of the range of complex challenges and conditions that impact on people’s lives.

Accepting and collaborative, I explore, alongside my clients, how early and current experiences and beliefs interact with biology, neurology, environment and interactions with others.

I can support adolescents, adults and families with:

  • PTSD and Complex PTSD
  • Dissociation and regulation
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma related conditions
  • The management of anxiety
  • Depression and mood disorders
  • Difficulties with Adjustment
  • The experience of living with or supporting someone with neurodiversity
  • The challenges of parenting
  • Difficulties with relationships
  • Family Court assessments and reports

Effective therapy is essentially warm, robust and appropriately challenging. I enjoy using a range of treatment modalities to best suit individuals in achieving their goals.

I have a commitment to ongoing evidence -based professional development that is pertinent and beneficial to my current clients.

Alongside Cognitive and Behavioural

approaches (ACT, CBT, DBT) and Interpersonal Therapy, I use Schema Therapy and EMDR in my daily practice.

We acknowledge that we meet, live and work on unceded Bunurong land. The Dreaming is still living. We pay respect to First Nations people and culture,

a deeply embedded and important connection with land, waterways, and spirit that has existed and will continue to exist forever.
